As we bring 2022 to a close, it’s worth reflecting on just how far we’ve all come in the last 12 months.
The year has definitely been much more akin to pre-pandemic life than the previous year! After months of lockdowns and restrictions, the world has largely opened up again and we’ve all been able to enjoy the levels of freedom we’d previously taken for granted.
In-person transcription services were back in 2022!
Just as in-person events made a comeback, so did in-person transcription! We pride ourselves on being able to deliver exactly what a client needs. Sometimes that will mean sending us a recording from which we create a transcript, sometimes it will mean having to make sense of a transcript that’s already been created using an AI service, and other times it will mean being called upon to provide a full wrap-around service. This will involve attending an event in person, setting up our own recording equipment, recording the full session ourselves and then using that recording to produce the transcript.
As soon as live events were back on, albeit with some logistical changes to ensure that risks were kept to a minimum, clients that have relied on our transcription services in this way in the past were in touch to book us in for their events again. Those who have a legal requirement to hold an annual AGM were quick off the mark to get us booked in for their events!
We’d like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to every one of our clients for whom we provided transcripts this year for their continued support. We very much appreciate it and couldn’t do it without you!
Our transcribers continue to provide outstanding service
Sometimes we are asked to provide transcripts with a very tight turnaround – and while we’re always realistic about what’s achievable, we always do our very best for our clients and aim to accommodate whatever is possible. We couldn’t do this without our truly remarkable team who are at the very heart of our business, and without whom we definitely couldn’t provide the outstanding service we offer to our clients. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and for working so incredibly hard throughout the year.
And looking ahead to 2023…
The new year sees us celebrating our 33 year anniversary, which is quite incredible! The transcription world is a very different one to what it was in 1990, and we definitely haven’t seen the last of the changes. It continues to be a challenging environment but we’re here to support our clients throughout and offer the transcription services for which we have an enviable reputation in the sector.
